Atlético Ottawa moved to the top of the Canadian Premier League table, continuing its undefeated start to the season with a 2-0 win over Valour FC Sunday.
The shutout came four days after Atlético pounded Valour FC 7-0 in the opening match of the Telus Canadian Championship.
First-half goals from Rubén del Campo and Gabriel Antinoro secured three points for Ottawa, with nearly 4,000 supporters watching in rainy conditions.
Both of Atlético goals were scored from set-pieces, capitalizing on a free kick for the opening goal and a throw-in for the second.
Ottawa returns to action with a third match in seven days at TD Place, facing Pacific FC Wednesday in the quarter-finals of the Canadian championship. This is a two-legged quarter-final with the team that advances facing the winner of Vancouver Whitecaps vs Cavalry FC.
